A Grand Chute company will pay more than $216,000 in fines for safety violations.
OSHA found seven repeat and seven serious violations at MODS International, dating back to last October.
The agency reports MODS didn’t provide proper training on how to handle hazardous materials and forklifts. The company also didn’t give workers adequate respiratory and hearing protection.
And MODS didn’t take care of potential causes of falls, or put proper safety guards on some machines.
MODS converts shipping containers into commercial buildings and homes.
