A founder of the Oshkosh Auxiliary Police force has died.
Donald Kujawa passed away Sunday at 87. Kujawa was one of the first members of the civilian police force.
The group was founded in 1958. The program provides security at public events, handles traffic at emergency scenes, and takes part in community policing.
Kujawa was the chief for 51 years, and he had recently retired from the position.
