The bankrupt owners of the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh are raising the possibility of liquidation.
In their latest re-organization plan, Fox Valley Pro Basketball is setting a date of November 17th to sell their future TIF payments from the city or they’ll turn over the arena to Bayland Buildings and walk away.
Under that plan, other creditors wouldn’t get any money back.
If that happened, Bayland says it would look at ways to keep the arena open.
Both Bayland and the City of Oshkosh are filing objections, arguing letting the owners run the arena until November would put the Wisconsin Herd’s lease in jeopardy.
There’s another hearing on the re-organization plan scheduled for Wednesday.
