Bad Company drummer Simon Kirke will do a Q&A and performance on the Road Recovery Facebook page Saturday at 4pm CT to support his charity, Road Recovery Random Acts of Outreach.
“Road Recovery allows me to share my talents and life experiences with our young people,” says Kirke. “The kids always give me more than I try to give them!”
Road Recovery has partnered with numerous artists over the years to spread the message to at-risk youth. Among those that have supported the program are Eric Clapton, James Hetfield, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels, and many others.
This past Saturday, Paul Rodgers, Kirke’s Bad Company bandmate, was part of the All Together Now Los Angeles Coronavirus Relief Fund telethon. He talked about the importance of wearing a face mask before the show aired a video of him performing “All Right Now” from one of his other bands, Free.
