Profits are down at the Oshkosh Corporation.
The vehicle maker is reporting a net income of $69 million for the second quarter of its fiscal year. That’s down from $129 million for the same three months in 2019.
CEO Wilson Jones says they felt the impact of the coronavirus pandemic in March. He says while some customers are delaying their orders, defense department and emergency orders are still strong.
Oshkosh Corp decided to shut down some of its plants around the world, and placed workers on furlough.
