Remember the good ol’ day when an armored car’s rear door would open and money would scatter on to a busy highway and people would lost their S#^t and risk their lives trying to pick it up like a stripper after her turn on the pole?
Boy things have sure changed.
Now it’s surgical masks people are slamming on their brakes to lay claim to.
This happened on a busy highway in the San Francisco area recently where approximately 1000 masks were strewn about the roadway and as one would expect, people stopped in the middle of traffic or pulled to the side and ran into the road to claim their masks. Witnesses said someone in a truck threw boxes of surgical masks from it on Wednesday causing a traffic back-up as people stopped to pick up the most-coveted of face masks.
Not sure ‘roadkill face masks’ are the best bet in the fight against Covid-19 but people are desperate and will do anything – even stop in the middle of a busy highway to pick up masks.
It’s gettin’ weird out there people.
