Traffic numbers are starting to bounce back in the Fox Valley since the start of the pandemic.
The DOT’s Tom Buchholz tells Dave Edwards on AM Fox Valley that having fewer drivers on the road during rush hour is helping with construction projects. He says that includes the one along I-41 in the Appleton area. He was concerned about having backups every day that stretched for two or three miles.
Buchholz says traffic counts were down 40 to 50 percent in the Fox Valley for the second half of March, and most of April, but they’re increasing this month.
