The opening lyrics of Guns N’ Roses’ seminal hit “Sweet Child O’ Mine” has now inspired, of all things, a children’s book.
GNR have co-penned Sweet Child O’ Mine with author and self-professed Guns N’ Roses fan, James Patterson and Jennifer Zivoin (Illustrator). It’s picture book adventure inspired by Maya and Natalia Rose the daughter and niece of the band’s manager, Fernando Lebeis, who says of the book, “We ourselves have been part of the ‘Guns family’ for over 30 years … being able to bring this into a children’s print book is truly special and a fun milestone in our lives.”
