The percentage of coronavirus test results that came back positive over the past day went up.
Eight-point-one percent were positive, and that broke a four-day streak of declines. Yesterday’s figure was 5.7 percent. It was 7.9 percent on Wednesday.
There are now 9,590 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. That’s up four percent from yesterday’s total of 9,215.
There have been 384 confirmed deaths, and that’s 10 more than yesterday.
Outagamie and Calumet counties both have 12 new confirmed cases. Outagamie is now at 105 overall, and Calumet 34.
Brown has 71 new cases, and 1,777 overall.
Two counties each added three. Winnebago now has 91, and Shawano 20.
Several counties have one new case. Fond du Lac is at 85, Oconto 27, Kewaunee 26, and Waupaca 11.
The statewide hospitalization rate for confirmed cases is 18 percent. Forty-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
