The Green Bay Catholic Diocese is planning a limited return to its churches.
Bishop David Ricken says they’ll start with short “communion services” on the weekend of May 30th and 31st.
He says they’ll take precautions to minimize the risk of spreading coronavirus. People will be required to wear face masks, and anyone sick won’t be allowed.
Ricken says Catholics aren’t required to receive communion during the pandemic.
Earlier this week, the Milwaukee Archdiocese announced its churches can hold regular services again, with limits on the number of people attending.
