ThedaCare is gradually resuming more services that were put on hold because of coronavirus.
The health care system started scheduling more procedures, and primary care visits, a few weeks ago.
President and CEO Dr. Imran Andrabi says they’ve performed about 1,000 surgeries since then. He says they’re testing their patients 96 hours in advance, and taking other steps to make sure they’re moving forward in a safe manner.
Andrabi says their emergency rooms are open and safe, and he’s urging people not to unnecessarily delay care.
