Catholics in the Green Bay Diocese will be able to return to church for mass, starting June 13th.
Bishop David Ricken officially announced the decision this morning, in a video. He had hoped to let churches begin hosting in-person mass on that weekend.
Ricken says he consulted with local experts before making the decision. He says they’ll limit the number of people to 25 percent of a church’s capacity. There will also be social distancing rules in place.
The diocese started holding a communion services at churches last weekend, and they’ll continue this weekend.
