Leaders in the three communities that set overnight curfews believe that’s helping prevent looting.
Bellevue Village Administrator Dianne Wessel says officers are keeping an eye on stores, and they’ve noticed people driving by and possibly “casing” them.
She says it appears they’re from out of town, and they’re trying to cause harm in the area. Wessel calls that hard to believe, and disgusting.
Green Bay will keep its overnight curfew through Monday morning. It runs from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day.
Bellevue and Ashwaubenon have also had curfews.
