The state is reporting 5.9 percent of new coronavirus tests came back positive.
That’s the highest total since 6.8 percent on May 23rd. Yesterday’s figure was 5.7 percent.
There are 539 new confirmed cases, and that’s the most in a single day since May 29th, when there were 733.
The state now has 27,286 confirmed cases.
There are 4,899 active cases, and that’s 96 more than yesterday. Seventy-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
Hospitals are treating 249 COVID-19 patients, and that’s 13 fewer than yesterday. Another 140 are waiting for test results.
The state has had 777 confirmed deaths, and that’s 11 more.
Brown County has 39 new cases, and that’s the fifth straight day with at least 37.
Outagamie added nine.
Winnebago and Manitowoc each have four more.
Waupaca and Kewaunee both added two.
Calumet, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Oconto and Shawano all have one new case.
