A state agency is hearing complaints about scams that are connected to the pandemic.
Consumer Protection Administrator Lara Sutherlin says people have filed more than 100,000 of them so far. She says offers to “help for a small fee” are everywhere.
Sutherlin also expects an increase in IRS scams in coming weeks, with the tax-filing deadline coming on July 15th.
