The state is reporting 4.7 percent of coronavirus tests came back positive, but also the second-highest daily total of new cases.
The percentage is down for the second straight day, after 5.7 percent were positive yesterday.
There are 601 new confirmed cases, and 28,659 overall. The daily record for cases is 733, on May 29th. The state received results on 12,781 tests.
The state has 5,284 active cases, and that’s 224 more than yesterday. Seventy-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
Hospitals are treating 242 coronavirus patients, and that’s five more. Another 169 are waiting for test results.
There were seven more confirmed deaths, for a total of 784.
Brown County has 48 more cases, and Outagamie 13.
Winnebago and Waupaca each added seven. Oconto has three new ones.
Calumet, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, and Shawano each added two. Kewaunee has one more.
