Health officials fear holiday weekend gatherings will trigger another spike in COVID-19 cases.
Brown County Health Officer Anna Destree says it is okay to raise the issue when gathering with family and friends. Destree thinks people should still socially distance and wear a mask. She feels people shouldn’t feel funny moving away from someone getting too close. A spike in coronavirus cases in early June was blamed on people attending Memorial Day weekend gatherings.
