The state is reporting 4.2 percent of new coronavirus tests came back positive.
That’s down from 4.3 percent yesterday, and the fourth straight day of declines.
There are still 539 new confirmed cases in Wisconsin, and that’s the third straight day the total has been over 500. There have been 29,738 cases overall.
The state has 5,414 active cases, and that’s 94 more than yesterday. The total has gone up for six straight days. Seventy-nine percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
Hospitals are treating 236 coronavirus patients, and another 143 are waiting for test results.
Seven more people died, bringing the state’s total of confirmed deaths to 793.
Brown County has 21 new cases. Outagamie and Winnebago each have nine more. Waupaca added five, and Green Lake two.
Calumet, Fond du Lac, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc all have one more.
