The percentage of new positive coronavirus tests dropped to its lowest level in two weeks to 3.9 percent.
Yesterday’s total was 9.2 percent. The last time it was that low was 2.2 percent on June 23rd.
The state still added 495 new confirmed cases, and there have been 32,556 overall.
There are 5,988 active cases, and that’s 30 fewer than yesterday. That total had gone up for 10 straight days.
Hospitals are treating 254 COVID-19 patients, and that’s the same as yesterday. Another 164 are waiting for results.
The state is reporting nine more confirmed deaths, and 805 total. There hadn’t been any new deaths for three straight days.
Outagamie County has 25 new cases, and Brown 23. Fond du Lac added 10, and Winnebago eight.
Calumet, Manitowoc, and Waupaca each have six more. Oconto added two.
