The state set a single-day record for confirmed coronavirus cases for the second straight day.
There are 845 new cases, and that’s almost 100 more than yesterday’s record of 754. The state has had 34,753 overall cases.
The percentage of tests that came back positive rose to 6.7 percent. It was 5.7 percent yesterday.
There are 6,605 active cases, and that’s 303 more. That total has jumped by 1,800 over the past two weeks.
Hospitals are treating 274 COVID-19 patients, and that’s 11 fewer. Another 168 are waiting for test results.
There have been 814 confirmed deaths, and that’s five more.
Brown County has 21 new cases, and Outagamie 18. Calumet and Fond du Lac each added 10.
Winnebago has eight more, Manitowoc seven, and Waupaca four. Shawano and Oconto both added two.
