The decision by the Green Bay Packers to keep fans from practices, preseason games. and the Family Night scrimmage will cost the local economy about $40 million.
Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau President Brad Toll says there’s no way to overcome a loss of 80,000 people that come to the community. He says there’s not a trade show or convention that comes close to that.
The Packers also haven’t announced whether fans will be allowed at regular season games, and if they are, how many.
