A lawmaker from Appleton was in Washington D.C. yesterday for a meeting at the White House.
Republican Sen. Roger Roth says he joined governors and officials from other states to sit down with President Trump’s top economic advisory, Larry Kudlow. He says they talked about regulations and what states have done about them.
Roth says one area they focused on was the requirements for licenses for certain jobs. He says they want to make sure some of the rules and fees don’t put an undue burden on people.
