Students in Milwaukee and Madison will start the next school year online, with plans to eventually return to the classroom.
Milwaukee has a three-phase plan that would move to a mix of online and in-person classes, and then bring everyone back to classrooms.
Madison’s plans call for decisions to be made quarterly.
They’re the two largest school districts in the state.
