Most students in the Appleton school district could have a mix of in-person and virtual classes.
Superintendent Judy Baseman says their proposal calls for two days in school, and three days of online learning, for fifth through 12th grades.
Early childhood through fourth grade would be in the classroom five days a week.
Baseman says they don’t have enough space in their buildings to have all students at school, at the same time, and still safely follow guidelines from the CDC and state and local health departments.
Baseman says they could also give parents the option of having online classes five days a week.
Parents can take a survey this week on the proposal, and the school board could vote on it next Monday.
