A Grand Chute police officer won’t be disciplined for racist and homophobic social media posts from when he was in high school.
Chief Greg Peterson says he won’t be filing charges against Officer Bryce La Luzerne with the town’s police and fire commission.
La Luzerne says he was quoting song lyrics on Twitter.
The department received an anonymous tip, and Peterson says an investigation of La Luzurne, along with body camera and in-car video, found no signs of bias.
La Luzerne has been a Grand Chute officer for 2-1/2 years.
