The Habitat for Humanity chapter in Fond du Lac County is also now helping remodel homes.
Executive Director Katie Karls says they’re working with seniors, and low- to moderate-income people, to make sure their houses are maintained. She hopes they can expand the new program once the pandemic is over, and volunteers are more comfortable.

The chapter had to delay larger projects to build new homes, because of concerns over coronavirus.
