There’s a fundraising campaign to raise money for school supplies for children in the region.
The Neenah-Menasha Emergency Society is involved in a larger program, called Backpacks for Kids.
The group’s Lisa Komblevicz says they get backpacks, notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, and other supplies. They also provide certificates to buy shoes from a local company.
The supplies are available for students from 4K to 12 years old.
The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region is a co-sponsor of the campaign. The supplies will also help in Outagamie, Calumet, and Waupaca counties.
