Investigators believe a preexisting medical condition led to a man driving into the Manitowoc River last Friday.
Manitowoc County coroner’s office says 26-year-old Jeffrey Pagel of Manitowoc died.
Sheriff’s deputies say Pagel’s car went into the water near the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. He was the only one inside.
They don’t suspect alcohol or drugs were factors.
