Ace Frehley’s second album of covers, “Origins Volume 2,” will be out September 18th.
It’s the sequel to Frehley’s 2016 collection, “Origins Volume One,” and it includes guest appearances by Lita Ford on “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” from The Rolling Stones, Robin Zander of Cheap Trick on “30 Days In The Hole” by Humble Pie and fellow ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick on Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.”
The album also includes covers of tracks by Led Zeppelin, Mountain, Cream, The Kinks and a new take on the KISS song “She.” The first single is a version of “Space Truckin'” from Deep Purple. Check out an animated video for the song below.
