Amazon’s new facility in Greenville is open today.
It’s considered a hub, and it’s expected to speed up the delivery process in the region.
Town Administrator Joel Gregozeski says other companies are showing interest in building in the town, and the Fox Cities, because of Amazon. He says some might want to have their products closer to Amazon’s facility, for faster deliveries.
He says some developers are interested in building “spec facilities” that companies can move into.
Appleton police say there will be new delivery workers around the area, now that Amazon is open. They say the workers will drive marked and unmarked vans, and they’ll wear an Amazon uniform while making deliveries.
