We’ve had a few stories recently about people trying to talk to the animals with minimal success, including some guys trying to shame a bear into leaving their bird feeder alone.
This time, yelling at a wild animal actually worked, though.
A man on his balcony saw a bear trying to break into his car, so he used his “dad voice” to scare it away… and it somehow worked. The bear opened the car door and then closed it immediately after being scolded. The bear tried again, was scolded again, and then wandered off.
The lesson: lock your car doors.
