An Appleton man is charged with ten felonies for a crash on I-41 earlier this month that killed two people.
Samuel Coppersmith will turn 21 next week. He’s charged with driving drunk and is being held on a $150,000 cash bond. Court records show Coppersmith was convicted of drunk driving in 2017, six months later he was charged with underage drinking in Outagamie County. Last month he was charged in Fond du Lac County with being a minor in possession of alcohol and was charged with failing to install or tampering with an ignition interlock device. His license was revoked on July 8th. The fatal crash happened July 19.
