Appleton police and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department won’t be able to respond to complaints that only deal with people not wearing a face covering.
A post on the Appleton police department’s Facebook page says businesses should kindly ask people to put on a mask, if it’s required. Police will respond if someone refuses to leave or starts a disturbance.
They’re asking people not to confront others, or call police, if they see someone not wearing a mask.
