A grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will help pay for a renovation project in downtown Oshkosh.
The former Gibson Auto Body building will become the Gibson Social Hall.
The grant is worth $250,000.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says they’ll have banquet facilities and a really neat aura. He says the city won’t have to put any money toward the project.
Rohloff says the new owners plan to start the renovations in the next few months, and they want to open in time for next year’s banquet season.
