There are 478 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin, while the percentage of positive tests went down for the fourth straight day.
The state is reporting 4.8 percent came back positive. That’s lower than yesterday’s 5.3 percent, and the seven-day average of 6.3 percent.
Another five people died, bringing the overall total in Wisconsin to 1,011.
There have now been 62,263 confirmed cases overall.
The state has 8,884 active cases, and that’s the fewest since July 19th. Eighty-four percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
Fond du Lac County has 24 new cases, Brown 12, and Outagamie 11. Calumet and Waupaca each have seven more. Winnebago added four, Manitowoc three, and Shawano one.
