An Appleton school administrator says the virtual learning at the start of the school year will be “substantially different” than last spring.
Asst. Superintendent Steve Harrison says they’re buying laptops for every student at every grade level. The district will also use a system called Canvas to run the online classes.
Harrison says students will be able to work together in small groups, and parents will also be able to access the system to check on their child’s progress, and due dates for assignments.
The school board voted unanimously to have online learning five days a week for all students.
