As concerns rise about the performance of the U.S. Postal Service, local clerks are looking at other ways to make sure absentee ballots are counted.
The City of Green Bay plans to install 16 ballot drop boxes for the November election.
Clerk Kris Teske is encouraging voters to consider all of their options early, and not wait until the last minute.
She says there was a rush of people bringing ballots to one of their drop boxes in the 45 minutes before the polls closed on Tuesday.
