The state is reporting 11.2 percent of new COVID-19 tests came back positive, and there are 685 more confirmed cases in Wisconsin.
That’s the highest percentage since 12.5 percent were positive on May 3rd. Yesterday’s figure was 7.3 percent. The seven-day average is now up to 7.2 percent.
There have now been 65,741 confirmed cases in the state overall.
The state has 8,702 active cases, and that’s 126 fewer than yesterday. Eighty-five percent of confirmed cases have recovered.
Hospitals are treating 329 coronavirus patients, and 152 others are waiting for test results.
One more person has died, bringing the statewide total of confirmed deaths to 1,039.
Brown County has 36 new cases, Outagamie 19, Winnebago 17, Calumet 16, and Manitowoc 8.
Fond du Lac and Waupaca each have 6 more.
Oconto added 4 and Shawano 3. Kewaunee and Waushara both have one more case.
