There’s a coronavirus outbreak at the Green Bay state prison.
The number of positive tests climbed to 57 inmates over the past week, and the Wisconsin National Guard started testing all inmates and staff today.
Since the start of the pandemic, 383 inmates in Wisconsin have caught the virus. Seventy-nine cases are active.
An outbreak at the Waupun prison in late May resulted in 228 cases, and they’ve all recovered.
