A state agency put together some guidelines schools can use, after learning of a coronavirus case in a building.
Traci DeSalvo of the Department of Health Services says it includes things to consider when deciding whether to close a classroom or a school. She says situations are going to vary from school to school and district to district, and that’s why they’re guidelines, and not requirements.
DeSalvo believes given the current rate of spread, there will be outbreaks in schools once children return to classrooms.
