Artists will be painting pictures along College Avenue in a new event in downtown Appleton.
Spokeswoman Lynn Schemm says Paint Out is similar to the annual Chalk Walk.
She says 20 people will be set up on the sidewalks with easels. They’ll work off the theme “Your Story,” and she’s excited to see what they create from that.
The artists can start at 9 a.m., and judges will pick a winner at 6 p.m.
All of the paintings will be available in a week-long online auction. It starts next Tuesday, and the artists will keep all of the proceeds.
