Wisconsin utility companies won’t be able to shut off power for customers behind on their bills for another month.
The Public Service Commission is extending the emergency moratorium to October 1st. The cutoff date is usually in April.
About 100 people were going to looking at losing their electricity on September 1st.
Utilities are urging people to put a payment plan in place, if they’re behind on their bills.
