The police shooting of a Black man in Kenosha led to protests in the Fox Valley yesterday.
People stood along College Avenue and in Houdini Plaza in downtown Appleton last evening, calling for justice for Jacob Blake.
Organizer Cassandra Ross says it’s very sickening that they have to continually speak out. She says people have claimed protesters are being heard, but then there was another shooting, just two hours away.
Protesters marched to the Appleton police station before returning to Houdini Plaza.
There were also rallies in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac.
