The head of Prevea Health supports the Green Bay school board’s move to set specific criteria for reopening schools.
Dr. Ashok Rai tells Action 2 News the district wants to base it on the number of cases per 100,000 people. He says he’s always recommended using metrics to determine when to start scaling back restrictions and reentering into society.
The district plans to switch from all virtual to a mix of in-person and online classes once there are fewer than 100 cases per 100,000 people for two straight weeks.
