The City of Oshkosh won’t recover its costs from hosting President Trump for a campaign stop last week.
City Manager Mark Rohloff says he won’t even try to bill the Trump campaign for the $28,000 in security expenses. He says none of the communities he’s worked for have been paid back, going back to 1992.
Oshkosh police provided security along 20th Avenue in front of Basler Flight Services, and at a nearby protest spot during the President’s visit last Monday.
