The Brown County Child Support Agency will take part in a pilot program.
The goal is to find out if people involved in child custody and paternity issues feel better about the outcome, if they understand the process better. The agency is one of seven in the country to take part, and the only one in the state.
Director Maria Lasecki says the process is complicated. She says they hope to find out if people are more satisfied with an outcome, if they feel they were heard and completely understand what’s happening.
Training will start next month.
