The suspect in a weekend shooting in Green Bay is in custody, after a manhunt on the city’s east side this morning.
Police set up a perimeter in an area around Main Street, and locked down several schools during their search for 17-year-old Demarvis Johnson.
Chief Andrew Smith says Johnson somehow got out of the perimeter, but investigators found out he might be at an apartment building near the Sheriff’s Department.
Johnson was wanted for a shooting on Cora Street, west of the Broadway District, on Sunday. The victim survived.
One person was also arrested on Sunday.
