An Oconto Falls man is facing a murder charge in the death of an Oshkosh woman.
Prosecutors believe 46-year-old Dennis Sutrick beat and strangled the 54-year-old victim during an argument in a hotel room in Ashwaubenon. An autopsy shows she died from head and neck injuries.
Police were called to the hotel last Friday morning.
Prosecutors say Sutrick asked a worker for help, and the victim was found in the bathtub. They say the worker noticed many bruises on the woman’s arms and head.
The victim later died at a hospital.
Prosecutors say Sutrick changed his story of what happened multiple times. He’s charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
