Coronavirus concerns are causing a group to hold off on bringing a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall to Oshkosh.
Mike Bennett of the local Sons of the American Legion chapter says they’re pushing it back to sometime next year, after initially planning to host it in October. He says they want to make sure it’s in a safe place, and accessible to everyone.
The Sons of the American Legion held a brat fry yesterday to raise money to host the traveling wall. The group needed to collect about $2,000 more, before that fundraiser started.
