The latest Marquette Law School Poll shows Democratic challenger Joe Biden holding on to a lead over President Donald Trump among likely Wisconsin voters. The poll conducted in early September gives Biden 47% support–compared to 43% for the President. That is one-percent closer than the month before. Poll Director Charles Franklin says there appeared to be little effect on the race from the national party conventions this year. The early August Marquette poll put Biden ahead of Trump 49% to 44%.
